The Suzuki Music School of Barrington (SMSB) provides Suzuki instruction in violin, viola, cello flute, classical guitar and piano. The goal of the school is to deliver quality musical ability development to all students who enroll. SMSB uses the Suzuki Triangle of parent-teacher-student to develop the musical ability of its students. The school provides the best teachers, facilities, program and performance opportunities possible. Private lessons are offered in violin, cello, flute, classical guitar and piano. The student's musical education is enhanced and supported by regular weekly classes which enhance performance and reading skills.

The Suzuki Music School of Barrington (SMSB) is owned and directed by Ms. Betty Mueller. The goal of the school is to deliver quality music ability development to all students who enroll. SMSB uses the Suzuki Triangle of parent-teacher-student to develop the musical abilities of its students. The school provides the best teachers, facilities, program and performance opportunities possible. Private lessons are offered in violin, cell flute, classical guitar, and piano. The student's musical education is enhanced and supported by regular weekly classes which enhance performance and reading skills.
Barrington Suzuki Strings
The school's parent partner group is the Barrington Suzuki Strings, a non-profit parent corporation whose purpose is to promote music education in the greater Barrington area. BSS supports the families of the SMSB through various means. Activities of the BSS include, but are not limited to, sponsoring concerts, workshops and community demonstrations. BSS provides monetary support for SMSB teacher and student education. They also provide support for concert tour groups at home and abroad. These activities are all accomplished through the hard work of parent volunteer committees and board members. BSS is run by a board of parent volunteers and is funded by corporate and community businesses, and the annual "Children's Fund" parent donations.
